Visiting St. Andrews

St. Andrews is located at the end of a peninsula jutting out into the magnificent Bay of Fundy. Its relaxed pace is in sync with the rhythm of the powerful tides that can rise to more than 28 feet.

In keeping with its calming atmosphere and gorgeous surroundings, the town is home to a variety of stores, restaurants, museums, whale watching excursions and other activities and attractions. We’ve compiled a few lists of our favourites, but for more information feel free to visit the official site of St. Andrews by-the-Sea or Tourism New Brunswick.

The charms of St. Andrews by-the-Sea, N.B.

The seaside resort town took hold as a retreat for stressed-out urbanites in the late 1880s. With its iconic hotel, colourful main street, slow pace and natural splendours, it serves the same purpose still today.
